In Norse mythology, Baldur was the son of Odin and Frigg. Baldur was the most beautiful of the gods, He was a god of truth and light. He was also knowledgeable in healing herbs and runes, which made him a favorite among the people of Midgard. Loki, one of the major giant deities in the Norse Mythology, known for his craftiness and malicious. Due to his jealousy towards Baldur, he tricked Baldur's blind brother Hod to shoot a branch of mistletoe, which caught Baldur in the chest and killed him instantly. This statue is beautifully designed, sculpted and handcrafted to the finest detail in cold cast metal (Bronze/pewter) finish.
